“Obsolessons” is the umbrella term for a somewhat broad undertaking. At it’s heart, Obsolessons aims to celebrate the physical. The podcast, “Unplanned Obsolessons: Tactile Media in the Digital Age” plans to look at how we relate to objects and collections. The ‘collection of collections’ on the other hand tackles a more straight forward question: what is it that we collect? I asked people to send in photos and information about their collections and then all of the collections are placed along side each other. The only real rule is “can you touch it?”
